“This is an easy push-button program for different sizes of ice. Ice for drinks in 5-6 minutes. I have it in my office. I like cold drinks. I use it daily without any problems. Of course, the ice melts over a few hours If not used. That’s ok because it drains into the same collection as the new water used to fill up the reservoir. I would recommend it.”

Got this machine and for the first 4 months, it was a dream! Then it started being finicky, we had to unplug/replug it multiple times in a week. But the ice was good so we didn’t think it was a big deal. Then the entire control panel went out completely. But then came back. Then it wouldn’t work for 2 days, but then worked again. Constant inconsistency and now it’s dead after 15 months and out of warranty and this was wasted money. Don’t buy this machine!

We purchased this unit for home use. It is replacing a name brand unit that only lasted 2 months past its warranty. The previous one was 9 cubes in 7 min vs this one being 12 in 7 min. It holds an entire gallon of water. It was MUCH larger than I was expecting. I should have actually measured where it was to go instead of relying on memory from the previous purchase. But, we just moved stuff around to make it fit. (Would NOT fit under a cabinet.) After reading the reviews, was slightly concerned about noise. But, except for when it drops the ice into the bin…super quiet. The large bullet cubes are LARGE! They are nice ones, however, that you can chew if you want. Not super hard. It does make a LOT of ice in a day! You could easily bag some up for a cooler or whatever if you wanted. We were very impressed with the packaging. It was packed well, extra corner protectors, etc. So, as I said…So far, so good! Will update if anything changes!

Newair AI 215ss ice maker provides bullet-shaped ice in three sizes: small, medium, and larger. The smaller ice cubes match nicely into a water bottle, keeping your drinks cold while you exercise or jog. The huge ice cubes are ideal for coolers, filling bags with ice and curing an injuries, or using in your daily beverages.

The ice cycle takes only around 7 minutes (12 cubes of ice every 7 minutes). Because of the rapid ice cycle, you won’t have to wait long to receive ice for your beverage. When the ice storage bin is full, the ice maker will turn off automatically. This is also applicable when the water reservoir is completely drained. One of the things I appreciate best about this device is that it has a self-cleaning option. As a result, you don’t need to worry about ice maker cleaning process. Additionally, It also includes an 18-hour timer; simply set it and the ice maker will run for that amount of time.
